Breast and Thyroid Surgery
The Thyroid and Breast Surgery Department is a featured specialty of the hospital. It is led by Director Tang Changjiang, who is the initiator and author of the "Expert Consensus and Operating Procedures for Thermal Ablation Treatment of Primary Hyperparathyroidism (2022 Edition)" and a member of the expert panel that formulated the "Chinese Expert Consensus on Thermal Ablation Treatment of Thyroid Cancer 2024 Edition." Director Tang has successfully performed over 2,000 minimally invasive ablative surgeries for thyroid, breast, and other conditions.
With the support of well-known domestic experts, the department has strong technical capabilities. It is at an advanced level in Shenzhen for minimally invasive thermal ablation treatment of conditions such as Grade I and II goiter, hyperthyroidism, hyperparathyroidism, thyroid nodules, breast nodules, uterine fibroids, adenomyosis, and endometriosis.
